Charitable Giving


“If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?”

Christ Community Church is a strong supporter of charitable giving, supporting the hard work of Christian organizations.  Currently, our church is giving financial and volunteer-led aid to the following groups:

  • Along Side Ministries – The desire of Along Side Ministries is to help our incarcerated brothers and sisters discover godly purpose in their lives

  • Phoenix Rescue MissionThe Phoenix Rescue Mission is a charitable organization that offers a number of Christ-centered program and services for men, women, and children in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area who are struggling with homelessness, drug addiction, and trauma

  • NW Valley Salvation ArmyThe Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

  • Liebe Zimbabwe Mission – Church members who first traveled to Mutambara Mission, a United Methodist institution in Mutare, to help build an eye clinic. Today, they are focused on the mission’s farm, schools, hospital and church, and building relationships with leaders in Zimbabwe

  • Choices Pregnancy CenterChoices Pregnancy Centers are licensed medical facilities that have been serving women and families in the greater Phoenix metro area since 1983.  Their centers provide free, safe and confidential consultations with caring client advocates and nurses and services include free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, post-abortion recovery assistance, material assistance and community referrals

  • Thousand Hills MinistryThousand Hills Ministry was founded in 2011 to support the life-changing efforts of Haitian Christians who believe God wants to bless their land and their people, through economic development and job creation. By providing tools and training in agriculture, irrigation, and livestock care to church-based projects, they are helping demonstrate and declare the love of God to the people of Haiti

  • The GideonsGideons International is an evangelical Christian association founded in 1899 in Wisconsin. The Gideons’ primary activity is distributing copies of the Bible free of charge. This Bible distribution is a global enterprise taking place in some 200 countries, territories and possessions

  • Wycliffe Bible TranslatorsFounded in 1942, Wycliffe Global Alliance is an alliance of organizations with the common objective of translating the Bible for every language group that needs it

  • Jesus Film ProjectThe Jesus Film Project believe that film is the most dynamic way to hear and see the greatest story ever lived – so are driven to bring Christ-centered video to the ends of the earth

  • Feed My Starving ChildrenFeed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children worldwide. FMSC meals are hand-packed by volunteers and sent to an incredible network of partner organizations who distribute them to those in need

  • Our Daily BreadOur Daily Bread Ministries produces several devotional publications, radio and television programs and an online university program

  • Harvest Compassion CenterTheir mission is to provide food and clothing in a hope-filled environment to the underserved in the greater Phoenix area

  • Chosen People Ministries – This is a Messianic Jewish non-profit organization which engages in evangelism to Jews. Its stated mission is to “pray for, evangelize, disciple, and serve Jewish people everywhere and to help fellow believers do the same

The Christ Community Church Missions Committee thanks all donors and volunteers for their incredible acts of generosity. We can’t wait to keep giving and supporting such amazing groups in the years to come.
